There is no faster way to make a cushion cover and still get gorgeous results.
Before we get started i wanted to let you in on a little secret.
For the back flaps where the velcro closures will be you will need two pieces as long as the front strip and 4 1 2 tall they will overlap.

Pin the piping to the right side of the top and bottom fabric pieces so that the raw edge of the fabric is even with.

Cut the two short side pieces of the cushion cover.
Use the basting stitch on your machine usually the longest stitch available to sew the piping in place.
When you get to the end cross the end of the piping over the start to create a continuous rectangular shape.
Keep in mind that the cushion will sit inside any arms or supports so don t measure beyond those.
I pinned the piping on the top panel first and sewed that on.
Insert prepared cushion being sure to pop the corners out.

Open the velcro and turn cover right side out.
They should be 4 tall and 3 longer than the short sides of the cushion.
Mark a line where you need to trim.
Pin this around the edge of the top cushion fabric allowing for a 1 2 inch seam.
The first piece will be for the top of the cushion pieces two and three will be for the bottom of the cushion and pieces four through seven will be for the sides step 3 measure out the first piece of fabric adding a half an.
Pin bottom piece in same manner making sure corners are lined up.
In my case i doubled the fabric to ensure the foam would not show through.
Cut all fabric pieces to size.
Piece together the piping into one long strip.
